Barbara Deladem Mensah is a dedicated academic professional and a current PhD candidate in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, at the University of Cape Coast (UCC). Alongside her studies, she serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
Barbara has a rich history of leadership and service in academic organizations. She served as the General Secretary of the National Graduate Students’ Association of Ghana (GRASAG) for the 2022–2023 academic year and was also the General Secretary of the GRASAG-UPSA Chapter from 2019 to 2020. Her leadership roles extend beyond student leadership, as she currently holds the position of Hall Tutor at Opoku Ampomah Hall, UPSA.
In addition to these responsibilities, Barbara contributed to the administration of UPSA as the Principal Administrative Assistant at the School of Graduate Studies from 2020 to 2022.
Barbara’s academic expertise spans energy economics, accounting, and finance, and she has contributed to the scholarly community through publications in indexed and ranked journals. Her passion for academia, leadership, and the development of future professionals continues to drive her work and contributions in higher education.
